First International Conference on Infectious Diseases and Nanomedicine has been innovatively conceptualized by Nepalese Association of Medical Microbiology (NAMM) and Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI) to promote interdisciplinary scientific study for systemic understanding of connections between major human diseases and their treatment regime by applying the tools and techniques of nanotechnology; with the motto: Interdisciplinary Collaborative Research for Innovation in Biomedical Sciences. This conference is aimed to strengthen network of scientists and young researchers from South Asian Countries to rest of the world. The objective of this International Conference is to provide rigorous discussion forum for the clinicians, microbiologists, pathologists, epidemiologists, biologists, chemists, pharmacists, natural polymer scientists, biomaterial scientists, nanotechnologists on pathogenesis of human infectious diseases, spectrum of antimicrobial resistance and recent advancement for the diagnosis and treatment with emphasis on service performance of the different drugs using nanotechnology. Emerging infectious diseases will form an integral part of ICIDN endeavours. The conference will be accompanied by a one day Short Course: Tropical Diseases and Recent Trends in Nanomedicine .The conference is hoped to be a milestone in promoting education and researches in the field of microbiology, drug delivery and nanomedicine in Nepal.
The conference will act as a forum not only for exchange of academic ideas but also foster the cultural exchanges and collaboration. It will pave a new path to establish strong scientific ties among the microbiological and nano-medical sciences from the region with several countries abroad.
We would like to extend our warm invitation to participate and contribute (either oral or poster) in the First International Conference on Infectious Diseases and Nanomedicine.
We look forward to welcoming you in Kathmandu in December 2012.
